Feed the Pig for Tweens The AICPA and the Advertising Council have launched Feed the Pig for Tweens, a new financial literacy curriculum for fourth to sixth graders. Feed the pig for Tweens (www.feedthepig.org/tweens) was developed by JMH Education with input from its Teacher Advisory Board and in cooperation with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The curriculum introduces nine to 11 year old students to responsible financial decision making. Teachers may order printed copies or download the curriculum free of charge at the Feed the Pig for Tweens website.

Me, Myself, My Money
"Me, Myself, My Money" comprises ten financial literacy lesson plans that are intended to cover basic personal financial management concepts requisite to establishing and maintaining financial independence.
Each lesson plan and activity is aligned with national and West Virginia learning standards for high school students (grades 9 through 12) in civics and social studies, and includes an Instructor's Guide and a Student Activity Sheet.
In addition, WVSCPA is proud to offer educators the option to request a Certified Public Accountant guest speaker to discuss one or more of the Me, Myself, My Money lessons and its associated topics.

Room Zoom
Room Zoom: The CPA SourceDiscTM. This multimedia CD-ROM is intended to attract college accounting/business majors and other high-potential students to CPA careers. The information in Room Zoom is presented in an interactive format so that students can explore everything from the education requirements to become a CPA in their state to what it takes to land that first job in accounting. By incorporating video, interactive simulation games, stereo sound, high-tech graphics, and text, the CD-ROM will not only inform, but will also entertain.Room Zoom is suitable for younger audiences, including grade school levels.

The site includes study information, simulation games, scholarship and internship listings, profiles of successful CPAs and career opportunities. It is brought to students and educators by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The Takin' Care of Business CPA iPACK is an all-inclusive kit designed to give you all the tools and information you need to promote and explain the fascinating career opportunities available to students who major in accounting. As part of its tax social media campaign, the AICPA has created several informative 360Tax videos on YouTube meant to inform consumers about the basics surrounding such topics as the Child Tax Credit, the Making Work Pay Credit, energy and homebuyer credits, and tax issues related to tough economic times, among others. Eight videos are available on the AICPAMultiMedia channel on YouTube. Feel free to promote these videos to your members and ask them to share with clients and potential clients through their blogs, tweets and any other social media channels they feel are appropriate.
