What Your Day Looks Like:
- Review the adequacy of client’s internal control systems, document the system for our files, and perform testing to verify the accuracy of the data provided.
- Import data such as working trial balance from client’s files to our workpaper files.
- Prepare workpapers and posts entries to our working trial balance.
- Prepare drafts of client’s financial statements.
What You Need for This Role:
- Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in accounting.
- Working towards CPA designation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience using technology and basic software applications.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and financial statement disclosures.
- Basic understanding of corporate, partnership, and individual tax laws.
