*Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with a strong understanding of business and accounting.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE ***Details of relevant experience must be shown in the work experience section of your resume***
* Two (2) years of Higher Education degree and experience.
* Two (2) years of SCT/Banner software experience.
* Two (2) years of wvOASIS/ADVANTAGE software experience.
* Two (2) years of consulting with users and technical personnel and utilizing the necessary tools to provide support.
*Two (2) years of using Oracle based administrative software on Unix and/or Windows operating systems.
One (1) year of client/server and networking experience.

* Evaluate and develop complex management reports using ARGOS, SQL*Plus, or other software which can be conveniently processed by the user. Lead statewide technical employees in the development of finance reports and the functional employees in the processing and use of the developed reports. Create documentation as it relates to the reports developed.
* Lead in the development and management of the Banner Finance to wvOASIS invoice, manual warrant, payroll, and purchase card interfaces and future wvOASIS and Banner Finance interfaces.
*Troubleshoot problems with Banner software, evaluating cause (user error, data errors, software defects, etc.) and recommend or provide solutions. Work with software vendors and employees when necessary to provide solutions.
* Perform testing, evaluation, and training on supported areas and provide technical and functional expertise for the successful daily operation of WV higher education institutions. Assist with the implementation and testing of software upgrades.
* Organize and participate in knowledge distribution to WV higher education institutions through statewide user groups, training sessions, and service on committees.
*Serve as additional support for Banner modules Student Accounts Receivable, and Student Financial Aid, though, not areas of primary coverage for this position. Provide additional support for member institutions during emergency situations.

* Strong understanding of the Banner Finance, including setup/functionality, to fully master the software skills and database concepts required to provide the maximum level of support to the various institutions.
* Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL, including: Oracle SQL, Pro C, Python, and shell scripting.
* Strong business or accounting knowledge is necessary to assist functional users throughout WV higher education.
* General knowledge of state (WV) and federal requirements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and institutions of higher education.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and presentation. Comfortable leading interactive Zoom (Video) sessions and phone calls with customers to troubleshoot problem areas.
* Must have strong/proven analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively, and quickly, address functional and technical issues.
* A knowledge of system development concepts and database management principals is required.
