WV Flood Victims - Important Information

Many of our family members, business associates and fellow West Virginians have experienced great losses during the recent flooding in our state. The information below was sent out by the WV Chamber of Commerce and we wanted to share it as well.

Below is a list of ways in which you can help:

  • Volunteers are needed in the field for intake and referral efforts.  If you or your business are interested in assisting with these efforts, please e-mail so we can connect you with agencies that are requesting volunteers.
  • Monetary Donations  can be made to the Red Cross at (304) 340-3650 or or the United Way at You can also sign up to volunteer with both organizations at those links.
  • Donations can be made through the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Foundation by sending a check to the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Foundation  at P.O. Box 2789, Charleston, WV  25330.  Electronic transfers can also be set up by contacting Amanda Pasdon at or (304) 989-0664.  The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and 100% of donations will go towards disaster relief efforts.
  • Togo boxes for serving food, plastic ware, diapers, batteries and cat food are items that have been specifically requested for certain areas.
