Chief Financial Officer
Mountain Valley Bank, N.A. is looking for a highly motivated, conscientious, and driven professional to serve as the bank’s Chief Financial Officer. The primary responsibilities for this position include establishing, coordinating and administering the bank’s accounting system, which accurately reflects the financial position of the bank and its parent company, Mountain-Valley Bancshares, Inc. The individual selected for this position will also be responsible for the company’s financial and regulatory reporting requirements, budgetary planning, and financial forecasting, as well as serving as stock transfer officer of the bank’s holding company.[1]
Qualified candidates should possess: · A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance preferably in the banking industry. · Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficient in posting journal entries to the general ledger. · Experience preparing monthly financial reports. · Experience with regulatory bank reporting. · Strong technical, analytical, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and think strategically. · A CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
