I. Qualifications:
CPA status is preferred. Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/business administration (or equivalent work experience) and have at least five (5) years’ experience in accounting work with nonprofits using the accrual method, fund accounting, tracking multiple funds using Excel, budgeting, the audit process and automated accounting software with knowledge of theory and generally accepted accounting principles. Extensive understanding of fund accounting is required.
